FE Modeling and Analysis of the Sports Center Building Frame under Snow Loading

Iterative engineering approach to decrease metal consumption is developed. Total weight of the metalware is 100 t. Results of the approach application (decreasing total weight): 1st iteration - 4,8 t, 2nd -4,4 t. All stiffness, buckling and strength reqirements are fullfilled.

Results of analysis in MicroFe. Axial force and bending moment in the roof beams. Difference between MicroFe and ANSYS doesn't exceed 5%.
