Computation Mechanics Laboratory (CompMechLab®) is the prize-winner of the competition “Exporter of the Year” held in St. Petersburg

The competition “Exporter of the Year” was organized by The Committee for Entrepreneurship and Consumer Market Development  of St. Petersburg and by the St. Petersburg Foundation for SME Development; its results were announced On November 25, 2015.  Computation Mechanics Laboratory (CompMechLab®) won the award in the nomination “The Best Exporter of technologies”.


 “It is very pleasant that our team was awarded in CompMechLab® native city, Saint Petersburg.  To export hi-tech services is not an easy task, you have to maintain the international standard and to be at the cutting edge. CompMechLab® has exported hi-tech engineering services for 10 years; these services were mainly designed for leading motor cars manufacturers. We plan to increase the export volume in the future”, – says Dmitry Karpov, company’s Deputy Director general for corporate communication.  

It is not the first time when company's activity was acknowledged by the business community. So, in March 2015, Computational Mechanics Laboratory  was one of Top 10 St. Petersburg companies - "Gazelle of Business 2015", and took the 8th position. R&D turnover growth in 2014 was 280% comparing to 2012. 


Computational Mechanics Laboratory (CompMechLab®) is a hi-tech engineering spin-out company based at the  Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and established in 2006 by the staff of educational and scientific innovation  Laboratory “Computational Mechanics” (CompMechLab®, 1987) of SPbPU.

CompMechLab® team develop mathematical models and finite elements models, computational methods, calculation methodologies, computer and supercomputer technologies, and next generation process chains in order to develop internationally competitive products of the next generation. The Computational Mechanics Laboratory (CompMechLab®) operates at the dynamically developing R&D market, and is targeted at domestic and foreign hi-tech enterprises.
