Airbus and Boeing Took 752 Orders at the Paris Air Show 2015
The 51st International Paris Air Show, held at Le Bourget Airport from 15-21 June 2015 was a record breaking event: With over 2 303 exhibitors (a 4% increase on 2013) from 48 countries, 351 000 visitors (an increase of 11.4%) including 151 000 trade visitors (an increase of 8.6% over 2013).

The impressive demonstrations put on by an air force pilot in Dassault Aviation’s Rafale, the presentation of Airbus’ A350, A380, A400M, Dassault Aviation’s Falcon 8X and other aircraft delighted the French President and the public from the first to the last day” declared Emeric d’Arcimoles, Chief Commissioner of the Air Show.
More than $130 billion worth of orders announced at Paris Air Show. The total orders placed for commercial jets between Boeing and Airbus stood at an $107 billion (752 aircraft). Airbus’ proportion of the total $107 billion orders stood at approximately 53%, amounting to approximately $57 billion for 421 aircraft.
